The classic editions are out of print. Revisited editions are in the works.

J.D. Netto’s debut fantasy series became an underground sensation. Rumors of Lucifer’s diary spread through Elysium, and two young men set out to find it, hunted by the Nephilins and the Fallen Stars.

The Whispers of the Fallen

Book one · 2012 · Classic edition

Hidden in the small village of Agalmath is a book humankind was never meant to know of: the Diary of Lucifer. For ages its existence has been nothing more than a rumor drifting across Elysium.

When Isaac and Demetre set out to uncover the Diary’s secrets and the identity of those sworn to guard it, they become prey. Hunted by the Nephilins and the Fallen Stars, they must find allies before a rising darkness swallows everything they love.

Rebellion

Book two · 2014 · Classic edition

Smoke hangs over ruined kingdoms, old secrets have clawed their way into the light, and the forces of Lucifer grow stronger by the day.

Isaac and his fellow Book-bearers learn that ancient enemies have risen from the Heart of Elysium to seize the Book of Letters, and the Nephilins now have Xavier, one of the Fallen Rulers, on their side. With shadow armies razing villages and creatures of the Abyss roaming the forests, the companions must master their fear to keep moving.

The Gathering of Shadows

Book three · 2015 · Classic edition

Three book-bearers have been captured, and Isaac, Xylia and Arundel are called back to Agalmath to face the Dark One himself.

Across Elysium, Lucifer is raising an army of men, beasts, Shadows and Nephilins to widen his kingdom, while the blood-drinkers, holding one of his most loyal servants captive, close in to take the Book of Letters. As the path they chose begins to look like it may cost them their lives, Isaac and Xylia’s courage starts to waver.

Descent

Novella · told by Lucifer · 2017 · Classic edition

A companion novella to The Gathering of Shadows, told by Lucifer himself. Descent turns the series inside out and lets the Dark One speak for the first time, tracing the road that took him from the light to the throne of the fallen.

Read it after book three, or as a way into Elysium from the other side.
